About Dansk lyd

In this website you will find parts of the Royal Danish Library’s large collections of older sound recordings, namely the parts which have been digitised and are found to be without any copyright restrictions. These restrictions often make it impossible for us to disseminate the sound files.

The website include recordings on early gramophone records, the oldest Danish wax cylinders, audio cassettes and others.

During 2016-18 more and more sound recordings will be added the website as they are being described and made ready for dissemination.
